ADSL2+ is the most widely available broadband service in the UK, including Sussex and Surrey. With download speeds of up to 17Mb on our ADSL2+ broadband circuits, it is ideal for light internet users who require a resilient service. Sourced from the UK’s leading carriers including BT, Talk Talk, Gamma and Vodafone.
At Keytech Networks, with every connection that we provide, a highly resilient Draytek business grade router will be supplied, to ensure you get the most out of your broadband.
ADSL2+ broadband is an enhanced version of the original ADSL technology that delivered broadband before fibre (superfast) connections became commonplace. Now it is mainly used in areas were fibre broadband has yet to be rolled out, but is also a good option for small businesses who operate with less reliance on the internet.
ADSL stands for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line and works the copper wires in phone lines. It delivers a reliable internet connection which can be accessed at the same time as making a phone call, and speeds of up to 17Mb which is plenty for browsing online, emails and streaming videos.
Speeds are dependant on your distance from a Private Branch Exchange, so we will advise on your predicted speeds should you get in touch for a free consultation.
As with all broadband services a phone line is required where we always recommend the additional Care Level 4 package when the ADSL2+ broadband is for business use. This provides additional peace of mind should there be an external line fault. The Openreach SLA with Care Level 4 is a 6 hour fix any day of the year.
Our team will also be on hand to answer any questions throughout your rental and are happy to provide any further assistance as you learn more about the connection and how you use it day to day. Should your needs change we can also suggest the best upgrade to help your business continue to grow
With a 95% coverage across the UK, there is a very high chance that this type of service is available in your location. Location is key with any broadband service and your location to the local telephone exchange in the case of ADSL2+ is crucial to understand.
With the rise of FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) broadband across the UK, businesses have gradually started to move away from traditional ADSL2+ broadband for the faster services that FTTC offers.
Our team can verify the specific broadband service available in your area.
Every business is different and location will play a significant part in what we would recommend our customers use for their day to day business activities.
If your business has 20 employees all needing internet access plus you have a VoIP Telephone system with 20 handsets then ADSL+ broadband is not going to work well. However, if you are a start-up business with one or two connections with minimal internet needs then ADSL2+ may be enough.
Our team will discuss your specific needs early on to determine what is going to be the best fit for the business both from a functionality any financial perspective.
Use our broadband speed test to find out the speed of your current service. Download speeds in the region of 20Mbps and Upload speeds around the 1.3Mbps mark would indicate you have an ADSL2+ Broadband service.

Prices start from £25 per month for this service. This is a business-only service and not intended for residential use. Every broadband service will require a separate phone line for the broadband to operate.
A one-off fee for the new router will be confirmed at the point of order and will be added to your first monthly invoice.
From date of order, it takes 10 business days for the phone line to be installed and we can request the broadband goes live at the same time. The new router will be dispatched in plenty of time ahead of the line going live and will be configured ready for use. We keep things simple for our clients to reduce both stress and disruption.
